You are having a lot of side effects and may want to consider stopping Yasmin. I post here to warn people about one serious possible side effect: blood clotting. There are blood tests and scans available to test for their presence. If in the lungs they are called Pulmonary Emboli. If in the legs: Deep Vein Thrombosis. If you are having unusual persistant pains I strongly urge you to be assertive and ask to be tested for blood clotting. My daughter died in her third month on Yasmin of Pulmonary Emboli which was initially misdiagnosed as "just anxiety" and three days later she was dead. Blood clotting is a known side effect of birth control pills and the incidence is even higher if you happen to have a blood clotting disorder such as Factor V Leiden. Please be careful with your health.
Thanks very much for your reply and I will go and get tested asap.
I am right there with you. I have been off of yaz for two weeks now and there am currently wearing a heart monitor due to the heart palpitations I was having. I was also experiencing headaches, nausea, being hateful, panic attacks, hurting in chest, legs, cramps, etc. I thought I was falling apart. I am still so tired that it is hard to get up and motivated each morning. I wish I knew how long it would take to get this out of my system. I want my old life back.
