i was on yaz for less than one month. I had the same side effects you had but also, unexplained bruising and horrible mood swings. when i found out all those symptons were Yaz side effects, I immediately stopped taking it. The medicine stays in your system for a while and it take time for it to go through and get out. I know it seems like forever, but It took about 2 weeks for my symptons to stop.
WOW!!!!!!!!1 I had the same sharp intense pain that would gnaw at me for a several seconds and would go away too. sometimes it would upper abdominal and sometimes lower like the side of my appendix but the other side of my stomach where I know its not there. That's so weird! I didn't know that this was from Yaz, but this could be the answer to why that was happening to me as well
This is crazy!! I am having all sorts of problems now and the doctors don't know why. All of my labs come back normal, but I have been bleeding for 8 weeks now. I have sharp stomach pains that come and go, just as the two of you said. The docs have even put me on a different pill to try to stop the bleeding and it didnt work. Now, I have to undergo a biopsy to check my uterine lining and a sono histogram. I never ever thought that the symptoms could be Yaz related, but it is worth checking it out. Thank you for posting your thoughts!
