My daughter is 18yrs old. She has a 4 month old baby. She started taking NuvaRing 1 month ago. She has had major hair loss since then. Her hair is normally thick coarse and curly. She now looks as if she has a receding hairline, it goes about 3 inches back on her temples. She only has baby hair there now. I decided to look up NuvaRing, because her hair loss is definitely abnormal even after having a child. Very large globs of hair in the drain and then again in her brush DAILY! Hair loss does not run in my family or my husbands. She was also crying for a whole week, everyday she was angry and sad. It was driving me crazy. Such extremes, I would rather have another grand baby than have my child go through that (hopefully I wont anytime soon). She is going back to using condoms, until we find something better.
