I am a 30 year old mom of 2, got Mirena inserted in December after I had my 2nd. In January I started having dizziness and went to an ENT and have been seeing a neurologist since, have been on 4 different migraine medications for "migraine dizziness" which now reading this board I realize it is most likely the Mirena which has cause my dizziness. My symptoms are dizziness, tired, heavy head, lack of sex drive, overall pregnancy feeling (sore breasts, bloated, hungry) I am getting it out on Wednesday. How long does it take to normalize once it is out??

Hi I've had my mirena out for about 1 month today and I feel great. I've lost 4.5 lbs since its removal and thats because I stayed bloated and hungry like I was pregnant. . I stopped having the panic attacks and heart palpatations. I did however have an early period and it was very heavy plus before my period I had a mild migrain but nothing like before I use to have them all the time. I don't feel hopeless and depressed anymore. You are going to feel so much better. Just give it time.

IT IS OUT!!! Got it removed on Wednesday and now it is Friday, still dizzy/foggy head but feel a bit less angry/hostile. Hope I get better and better. The foggy head feeling is the worst and I just want to feel normal again. It has been 6 months of feeling this way, not to mention the angry/hostile/emotional/anxiety and general pregnancy feeling I have had. In the meantime I am hopeful that I will return to normal.
