I am SO SORRY for what you have gone through. You should never have needed a hysterectomy just because of ovarian cysts. The cysts are quite a common occurence with Mirena and they should have just removed the Mirena and let the cysts dissolve on their own. Then you would not have lost your ovaries and would not have been pushed into instant menopause.
As for the numbness, I personally do not think that it is from the Mirena since you said that there was a breast lump. If you have a lump there, it can be "pinching" a nerve. I would get this lunp looked into further. Especially if there is any family history of lumps, cancer, etc.
Good luck to you as you recover... and keep us posted!
I hope everything goes smoothly for you with healing. I am post removal since April 30 and had several tests due to numbness and tingling and the only thing that was different was the mirena.....:) The culprit! Go to cure.zone.com and go to the mirena forum and search "mirena and tingling"...you'll be shocked becuase there are several posts! Your not alone! :)) Feel free to ask me any ??
