I have had the mirena for 2yrs. 1yr from the day my Mirena was inserted I was diagnosed with a UTI. Now 2yrs to date I have the same symptoms. I have had kids and did not have UTIs. My docs has taken cultures and they have come back negative. However, I know what I feel. I am really glad I found this site also. I'm really mad bc I have tired a few methods of birth control and they work well-the side effects always get the best of me after a year or two. Well thanks for the input and I am really thinking about taking this thing out.
