I also had mine removed on monday and felt great once it was removed until wednesday...I started to bleed very heavily with blood clots, had the chills, shakes and heart palpatations--I think this was my body trying to figure out what was going on. I think still having some of the symptoms is what they call the mirena crash. It takes awhile to get the hormone out of your system. I am also at midcycle and think that I might be having what should be my usual PMS symptoms. I hope that my nightmare will go away very soon and the same for you.
from what some people have replied w/ - post removal was a lot like withdrawal from most drugs. the first bit of time you may or may not feel better - but in the overall the symptoms will subside. women who had it removed after an extended amount of time, or were super-sensitive to hormonal changes seemed to take longer than others for the symptoms to pass. not to scare anyone, but there have been a few that had it removed over a year ago that are one just now feeling 100% themselves. for the sake of awareness, i'm going to mention that a couple women feel that the mirena has ruined their life, b/c now they cannot safely conceive due to the imbalance and damage it's done. give it time, but you'll start to feel better.
Hi, I was just wondering how you were feeling now after the removal? I had mine removed today, and am a bit nervous about how I will begin to feel later in the week. I only had my mirena in for alittle over a month and had it removed due to debilitating side effects. How long did you have yours in?
