I am 20 and I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for almost 6 months now...

I started the same pill in March of this year. I haven't had my period since that month. I took several pregnancy tests and they were all negative so I called my gyno. She told me that some people just don't have their periods on the pill. She said that it's because when you do have a period on the pill it is chemically induced and is only your liner being shed. So, sometimes we shed so much at one time that we simply have nothing else in there for a few months. Hope that helps!

i'm having the same probelm! i've been on this pill now since november so thats what 7 months, NEVER got my period still haven't and now recently i get horrible cramps around a week or so before i'm supposed to get my period. is this the case with you? i mean its great that i dont get my period but like it scares the H*LL out of me that i may be possibly pregnant.

I have the same problem and i am very worried about it. I think it has been a year or a year and a half without my period. I used to get my period on the pill then it got lighter and now it is non-existent. My gyno said it was nothing to worry about when I went for a routine check-up. He said it sometimes happens on BC. I am not worried I will get pregnant I am just worried that something is wrong. I do get some symptoms like when I am supposed to be getting my period. Like my face will break out around the time I am supposed to get my period. Any advice or info? I am not sure if something is wrong, or my diet, or stress, or sleep schedule...?????

And I am 20 years old too, this shouldnt be happening at 20!

I'm 18 and have had this similar problem. This is my third month on Loestrin 24 Fe and I've only had one, very light period. By reading these posts though, it seems a lot of women have missed their period too. It's driving me crazy though to think I'm pregnant. I also feel like I've gained weight or I'm constantly bloated. I hope this is normal. Should i contact my gyno?

I just called my doctor's office and spoke with her nurse about this problem. I have been going crazy taking multiple pregnancy tests every month because I keep missing my period. It has been three months now and all I have gotten is one day where I go to the bathroom once and I have cramps. I wipe after going to the bathroom and have a little dried blood, a spot really and that's it. I am going nutz. I don't want to just think my period is not going to come because it hasn't and one of the times actually be pregnant!! Is this normal or a defect?

BTW I just turned 23 and I have only been taking Loestrin for 3 months. Before that I was taking Lutera for a couple months and YAZ before that. My doctor has yet to get back to me.

hey i JUST went to the doctor monday for a diagnoses from my blood she took that friday becasue i missed my period also for 3 months she said that it was most likely that it had to much estrogen, she check my thyroid also becasue that appearently causes that too... i'm starting YAZ on suday so if you want you can check back with me to see how that goes. oh btw i'm 19. my email is igtagsxrby@gmail.com
