This is my 3rd posr here...... long story short.... I'm 40yrs-- I got Mirena to help with my irregular periods....... I got Mirena in on 06/03/09, took it out on 06/10/2009.... I started a heavy period with huge clots from 06/12 -06/15 or so....post removal, I was really moody, down (depressed), tired, & my breast was tender but it all seemed to go away when the bleeding stopped.... So, fast forward to 06/21 when another extremely heavy period started and has continued on through today.... I'm moody, depressed , tired, and spacey since Sunday..... this is not a normal cycle for me because I was on when I got it inserted on 06/03 and shouldn't have seen another cycle until July.... By the way.... I got acne after I got it removed.... yet great 40 yr old woman with acne----OMG!!!. I'm hoping this bleeding stops today or tomorrow... Has anyone else had this happen post removal ???? Is there a drug other that BCP that will help with irregular periods ??? These crazy cycles are ruining my sex life..... lol... thanks for your help.....
