My 2 year old daughter was prescribed zyrtec 24 hour infants formula and after giving it to her once it caused her to pass out and be unconscious for 30 minutes and was non-responsive. She was rushed to the hospital and is ok. She was only given the .5ml as prescribed and this was given the night before this occurred. It was an adverse after effect from the medication. I will NEVER give my child Zyrtec again. This medication is not safe in my mind.
