I am very reluctant to take any medications, but needed something for a sinus infection that wouldn't go away after 2 weeks. Received 10 day dosage. Drug worked to clear it up, but experienced a noticeable oncoming of depression and emotional detachment from life. This drug may not be tracked for psychological side effects, which might explain the lack of forewarning by doctor's et al, but it was a clear cause and effect in my case.

Me too! I've never been depressed in my entire life and amoxicillin made me feel depressed and emotionally detached. I only had a bladder infection before! I wasn't questioning my entire life or vomiting or having diarrhea! Now I have more problems than I did to start with and my bladder infection STILL isn't better. I have to go on Clindamycin now which is a CRAZY medication that also causes some of these same symptoms. Fantastic. I feel your pain!
