Be careful, my BS was 165-260 and about 8 weeks on januvia, my BS wnet to and is now 375-580. My doctor is trying to put me on Janumet, which I have not even filled yet, and will not fill. Since stopping my some of the pain in my rib cage has let up. but I am having trouble getting BS below 400. In fact the other day my meter's reading just said Hi. I have never seen a maxed out meter before. I directly attribute this to Januvia and will not even consider it again, or any related meds. I see the doctor in about 2 weeks and will ask for a full blood test to see if it has done any damage.
