Has anyone experienced muscle loss of the heart since they are on vytorin? In 15 months on Vytorin my heart ejection fracture went from 48 to 30.

All statins are dangerous drugs that can cause MANY side effects. The drs. and the drug co's are doing a SCAM on the anti-cholesterol drugs . . . .it is big $$ business . . . . your mind/body needs cholesterol to function properly.

I am not surprised. Statins deplete CoQ10 from muscle cells. CoQ10 is needed for muscle cell energy. The heart muscle contains the highest concentration of CoQ10 in the body. Depletion of CoQ10 thru statins is called "statin associated cardiomyopathy", or simply stated, weak heart muscle.

Its ironic. The drug that is intended to help our heart health can actually worsen it.
