lupron makes me a bad person. i easily get irritated even on very little things. mood swings is very out of this world. i'm on my day 4 of lupron and i can't control my emotion anymore. i do deep breaths to try to control it but it doesn't work for me. i really have to shout my emotion or else i feel i will burst or die of heart attack. i don't know what to do anymore. i have to be relaxed to have a successful ivf. need your advice.

I've heard very good things about accupuncture. It's one of the few "alternative" therapies that have shown clinical success rates. I think I read about a 10-15% higher pregnancy rate with accupuncture! It will help relax you, also.
I like yoga, too, but you may not be able to do this during your IVF. Your little egg size ovaries will be swelling up to apple or grapefruit size, and the risk of twisting means you shouldn't do much more than stationary biking or walking.
I'm on day 10 of my first IVF cycle. Here's to sticky babies!

How are you doing these days? Has the temper thing subsided or is it still a problem? I just had a Lupron injection two days ago and I have noticed that i have slightly more aggressive behavior, which for me is probably a good thing because I tend to roll over easily. I would like to know how you are doing.

As for what to try to relax, I don't know if will help you but my son, who has trouble with a temper, has far fewer anger episodes when I feed him salmon at least two times a week. If you don't like fish, then maybe you could consider trying fidh oils. I think omega 3 is what salmon is loaded with. I do hope you are doing better. Oh, i just had this thought- have you had you blood sugar checked. I am a diabetic, and when my blood sugar is high my moods are crazy. I did read that high blood sugars can be a side effect of Lupron. Maybe you could have that checked. There is a test called an A1C that will give you an idea of what your blood sugars have averaged over the past thre months. Also, is you can get your hands on a glucose meter and some strips, check you blood sugars in the mornings, and then again about 1, and then 2 hours after you eat. Your blood sugars should stay between 72 and 140, if they are far higher or lower then that then you should definitely tell your doctor.
