July 10, 2009 Taking Prednisone 20+20 a day . One morning my heart beat and pulse shot to 180/Min and became irregular. Immediately went to urgent care. B.P was checked to be 190 (Systolic) / 110(diastolic) . Slowly the Pulse and B.P came down to normal. Reduce the dose to 10+10 Prednisone a day voluntarily. But Doctor asked to go back to 20+10. After taking 20+10 for 5 days , today on 6th day again I got the attack of irregular high heart beat and high B.P. Took a tranquilizer and in an hour the heart rate and B.P slowly came back to normal Posted by Nez
