This dangerous drug can cause MANY side effects. The drs. and the drug co's are doing a HUGE racket . . . .it is all about $$ . . . when reality, your mind/body needs cholesterol to function . . . . I suggest that your Mom to stop taking this POISON before she has more side effects.

After 8 years of monitoring statins for side effects, yes, dizzyness has been reported by others taking lipitor.

There are different B vitamins. Depending on what she is taking and how much. Example, excess B12 won'y hurt, however excess B3 or B6 can have side effects.

Odds are its the statin causing the dizzyness and not the B vitamins.

That statin won't do anything to extend your mothers lifespan. Nothing, Nill, zip, Nada. But the risks to her health from the statin are very real.

thank you all so much. I did ask my mom to stop taking the lipitor till she see the dr again. Today she says she is not dizzy thank again

Many many independant trials have shown NO MORTALITY advantage for older folk and females through lowering cholestrol. Keep your mother full of love not synthetic expensive poison then let god/nature take their course for a very long happy time with no cruel adverse side effects.
