I've been taking doxy for 4 weeks now for Rocky Mt. Spotted Fever. I've developed several symptoms that I thought were from the RMSF ... but now believe that its from the doxy. Just how long does it take for the nausea, dizziness, out of body feeling, weekness of legs, body aches, etc to clear up after you stop taking the doxy???? Thanks!
i'd like to know that too..i heard it could take a minimum of a week...id like to stay in bed until its gone..
I've been off it for two weeks and still have shortness of breath, anxiety and fatigue. I only took it for 4-5 days.
i just finished my 4th week of Doxy.. what a mess? Do people recover? my arms feel like they are going to fall off and my head is killing me...
any thing you can suggest to take for this/?
I've been taking lot of vitamins, in particular magnesium/calcium, B complex, C and multi vitamin. Eating yogurt to reintroduce healthy bacteria in my stomach. Once the first week was over (Nyquil and Benadryl was the only way I could sleep) I started drinking tea. I've never really consumed hot teas, but I have a "tension tamer" and a "Sleepy Time" tea that both seem to help mellow me out. Lots of sleep too.
It's basically wrecked the last two weeks for me, and now into my third. I'm much better today, but the fatigue is still here and the shortness of breath (although not nearly as bad.) I'm really hoping I can shake it within the week. Keep positive, it's nasty stuff indeed.
