I was given the medication to prevent a tooth infection. I tried taking it several times for it but every time I take it I get pain between my shoulder blades and it hurts to swallow. It is worse trying to swallow liquids. I am done. I don't know for sure if it's the med or if I am having a heart attack.

Thank you. Reading your post just relieved my mind alot. I started the med 3 days ago for bronchitis/pneumonia, I also have congestive heart failure so when I woke this morning with severe pain in my upper body and lower back I was very concerned. I am breathing ok, no wheezing, so I couldnt tell if it was my heart or the med. side effect. I feel like its the med. I hope everyone out there feels better.
