I have been taking Yasmin for 11 days to help with my acne but have decided to stop taking it. I have experienced the following side effects: Extreme fatigue Strange taste in mouth Heightened sense of smell Extremely emotional Blurred vision. It could be that these symptoms will subside within a few weeks/months of use but I don't feel like myself and I am not willing to take that risk. I refuse to put this into my body any longer. I'd rather be 'me' with spots. Can anyone tell me what I might experience over the next few days? Thanks

I am on Ocella and am exhausted. I also began suffering from ocular migraines. Read my post dated 7-22-09 4:14 P.M.

My first two months were horrible!! My appetite never went away, I was severely depressed, and, worst of all, I had to hold myself back, so as not to punch someone for just talking to me, I was so moody!! I was really surprised and amazed at how much hormones play a role in your behavior, but by the second month, my skin was amazingly clear! Whereas before I started taking the pill, I would break out at the slightest change in my environment, now, once in a while I'll get a pimple but it'll never get as extreme as they used to get. I gained about 15 lbs in my fourth month now, and I get a little depressed sometimes, but my skin is great, and that's the reason I started taking Yasmin. So I'd recommend you stick it out for a few months, cuz by then you'll see what it's capable of, but then decide if it's worth it for you. Good luck!
