ok, but if your doctor told you that "it's not uncommon" for this rather frightening side effect to occur from this drug, why didn't she warn you BEFORE you had the symptoms so you might have been prepared?
and now you are taking another drug to relieve the side effects of the first drug. who knows what side effects this combo will cause that you haven't been warned about.
but at least your goal is to get off the lisinopril and zantac with diet and exercise. the best drugs are no drugs
Did you know that zantac contributes to high blood pressure?
you work 90 hours a week??? that's 5 18 hour days...when do you sleep?
Props - I agree, but my doc says that if they list chest pain as a side effect then people might self-diagnose as heartburn. They want people with chest pain to get checked out by docs. I'm happy the drug is working to reduce the hypertension, which could kill me. I can live with taking the Zantac until I get off the Lisinopril. It's not my doc's fault or the drug company's fault that I have hypertension - it's my fault.
Cath - Mayo says no connection between Zantac and hypertension.
Ruth - You're assuming a 5-day work week. ;-)
