i had my mirena put in 07/10/2009. When I first had it placed there was sever cramping.I was instantly spotting. I went to a GYN i was referred to by my regular doctor cause of heavy periods and pain. Since then I have had 5 days of light spotting.I have now had heavy bleeding for 8 days as well as passing clots(uughhh),. I am also having tingle sensation and numbness in my left arm and foot. I don't know how much longer i can deal with this. i have my follow up august 25 and i might have it removed if this does not go away. I was assured that the Mirena would help me with my periods and pain. Since i had it placed i have only had sex once and it hurt like hades and i feel gross!
