I too suffered evere dizzyness from toprol and lisinopril and all other beta blockers I tried. The worst part was the dizzyness would come on suddenly and totally unexpectedly when I would be driving and this was not just that the world would spin around but upside down and backwards as well. Try that at 65 mph! The diovan and amlodipine worked fine with minimal side effects but now the cost of diovan is skyrocketing. I found some on line for $.70 a dose three months back but now it has jumped to over a buck a pill and many places charge up to an obscene $4.00 a pop for a pill whose active ingredients cost less than ten cents. There is no help coming before 2012 when the patent expires and there will be generic versions for $3.00 for 90 pils at Walmart. Medication is becoming so overpriced and I get sick when I hear about cancer drugs that cost $6000 a dose when the patient has to look forward to 6 of these shots. When are the American people going to say "enough!"
