I smoked for three years and took chantix for over three months and did not have any breathing problems. I would call your primary care doctor or get an appointment at the office of your choice because this could be a sign of another problem that developed form smoking and since you quit you may now be more aware of problems that were not noticable when being a smoker. I have become much healthier and feel ten times better than i did as a smoker and I as well noticed other problems that I didn't notice before quitting. Hope you get to feeling better Nikki. :)
