Hi There :) I went to the doctor 2 days ago and was prescribed alesse, but the pharmacy gave me aviane instead, as my mom's health insurance only covers generic brands. Now I have a 3 month prescription sitting in front of me, and after reading about all of these negative experiences, I don't know what to do! this is my first pill (I'm 17 - 18 soon) and I really don't want any negative side effects. My main reasons for going on the pill were skin problems, and that I have horrible cramps that put me out of commission for 1-2 days every month.
