I'm 23 and more than halfway through my first month on Loestrin. It's been absolutely horrible. I have terrible insomnia, nausea, acne, food tastes different, and as a result I have no desire to eat. I have been extremely moody, depressed, and dizzy. My sex drive has actually decreased, and I am NOT happy about that. My period lasted 10 DAYS (as opposed to the usual 5), and I had worse cramping this time around than when I was not on the pill. I also bled very heavily for the duration. I took Ortho a couple years back and had no side effects other than mild headaches the first month. I do not even want to wait to see if Loestrin levels out. I'm terrified to stay on it.
