Ok, so I've had it out for 12 days. The day after I had it removed I started my period and bled for 4 days straight, it stopped. And now I started again last night and I am bleeding again pretty heavy. Is this normal? Has anyone else had multiple, back to back periods? How in the heck am I supposed to track my cycle when I can't even figure out when one ends and another one begins. Please help me.
When I spoke with my doctor about removing my Mirena we spoke about what could happen. My main concern was heavy bleeding. I was told if this happened IT IS NOT NORMAL and needs to be investigated further. I have had my Mirena removed during the same consultation, almost 2 weeks ago.
I have only experienced light bleeding on the second day of removal and the last two days I have had light bleeding which I expect will stop in the next day.
You need to go back to your doctor to have heavy bleeding looked into.
