I have been using Zyrtec and the Walgreens equivalent of it for about 18 months. It's the only medication I take. I noticed over the past year I had sleeplessness, vivid and bizarre dreams, sluggishness when it comes to my train of thought, melancholy, and extreme dry mouth. I spoke with my doctor and he recommended a sleep study. The sleep study identified me with Sleep Apnea. Not believing that diagnosis (since it seems everyone is diagnosed with it when they go to a sleep study center) my wife and I started looking at other reasons.
Today, my wife and one of her friends prayed for me. Simultaneously, without knowing she was doing that, I was online and just thought "why don't I look up Zyrtec and see what other people are saying about it". WOW!!! All of my symptoms are being talked about. Seems like nearly everyone has had one or more of them. I also have been waking with a sore lower back, too and we have a brand new mattress less than a year old.
I love what Zyrtec does (totally relieves my allergies), but the side effects are too much to continue taking it. My doctor is switching me to Flonase effective today.
