I like many others had average shoulder length hair. Since I have been on Lisinopril and HCTZ my hair has thinned in the top considerably, the texture has changed from mildly kinky to borderline straight. I am concerned about putting any heat on my hair, it is soft like cotton. I cannot style it so I pull it back. My BP is well controlled on the meds, however I am only 55 and my hair has thinned like a much older woman. Does anyone know if stopping these meds will make the hair regrow once it has thinned?? Help

I don't know if your hair will regrow. But, I've been off the drug now for several months and my hair feels a lot healthier, stronger and fuller. I also had dry skin on my hands and ankles, so bad that it was cracking and bleeding. This has cleared up, also.
