Yes. I have had my Mirena for four years now. It is due to come out next summer. My boyfriend wants me to take it out, because it bothers him during sex, but also he wants a baby and I'm not sure yet. I already have two kids 15 and 16. I went to the Dr. to have it removed, but chickened out and ended up just having the string cut. That was about a month ago and every since then I have been having the same symptoms as you. I have an appt on Friday to rule anything else out and if it is my Mirena, then I'm having it removed immediately. I will check back after my appt. to inform you what it was. I have been having some of the other symptoms that I have read, but just thought it was normal, because I use to be on Depo Provera (I got a blood clot from that) and that was worse, so this actually seemed great at first.
I had my Mirena put in December 2008. I bled constantly for the first four months but my doctor just said that your body could take a while to adjust. Since then I have put on loads of weight, have terrible cramps and severe mood swings, constant headaches and flu like symptoms, joint aches, tiredness etc. Sex was pretty uncomfortable too. I cannot take it anymore and will be going to my doctor next month - hopefully will have it removed.
