That side affect will go away. I had an allergic reaction and was injected with Kenalog in my right buttock. A few weeks later I noticed that area was ligher than my normal skin color and I had an indentation. About 6 months later I couldn't even see or remember where the injection was done. So my advice is give it time and the skin will repair itself.

I had a deep injection of kenalog & marcaine in April 2007 in my left buttocks. The dent is now finally gone. Exercise may help & massage.Just don't get anymore Kenalog shots. Hope this helps.
