I can relate to you. I had Mirena installed in me in Dec. 2008. My periods are very lite and I only get them every other month. No stomach pains just minor stomach pains when it was put into me. My weight has gone up and I can't understand why because I walk 2 miles everyday, I started back at the gym 3-4 days a week. I am finally eating better like more fruits and vegetables that I never ate before and I stopped eating junk food. I am moody, feel depressed, and want to cry constintly over anything. I get dizzy and have trouble sleeping. The one thing that I noticed the most that has changed with me since being on Mirena is my hair loss. It is very depressing to notice each month how my hair is thinning, and all of a sudden too! It is so reassuring to me to read these messages from other women. I don't feel crazy now. Thank you to all of you and your comments. I am calling my doctor tomorrow to have this removed and to get my life back as I once remembered it to be.
