I had my Mirena inserted 15 months ago. The gynecologist felt that it will keep polyps away (as I just had one removed that was border case) instead of a hysterectomy. I started to put weight on, my hair was always oily, I got palpitations,hot flushes,anxiety,depression,join pains and loss of concentration.. Worse of all is that my blood pressure went mad. Despite two very strong blood control tablets I could not get it down. I got pains in the side of my face and thought I was having a stroke.
