OMG! I'm afraid to take this medication, after reading all of you...

Don't take Cephalexin if you can avoid it. I took 2/3 of my meds. for an infected bee sting. I had slight nausea, and intestinal issues but the most concerning side effect is uncomfortably strong heart beats and heart flutters/racing. Also, a am very anxious and nervous. Even though I haven't taken any meds for a week the symptms are not going away. I am scheduled for a physical in a couple of days. I am hoping to get more info then. In hindsight, the best results I have ever had from doctors were Naturpaths. After my physical I am going to establish a Naturepathic doc as my regular doc.
If anyone else has experienced Cephalexin causing irregular heart beats please reply. Take care. Diane.
