Did the removal go smoothly ? I am getting mine out this afternoon .. have called everyday to see if they have had cancellations so I could get in sooner. Just nervous now about how it all goes and if the aftereffects are bad ...

Yes it went totally fine! It was just a teeny little cramp. I was really nervous about getting it taken out but it was great--and my strings were cut very short so they weren't hanging out of my cervix--and it still went well! So far I haven't noticed a huge difference in how I feel; I DO feel better but I don't know if it's a placebo effect...I've had some slight spotting plus increased BM but that may be due to the weird food I ate last night!
