I was taking Lisinopril and had severe leg cramps. I took myself off the drug. The doctor encouraged me to continue, but to cut the dose in half. This I did. I began to have sore legs at night which I attributed to being on my feet too much. Recently I took myself off Lisinopril and my sore legs vanished.

I have been on lisinop/ HCTZ for 1month after the doctor took me off of metoprol. I believe that my extreme swelling in my legs is due to this switch. The strong water pills that he put me on are non effective. My legs ache terribly. I want to go back to metoprol.
