Hi, I was prescribed Omeprazole for gastritis. I took one before dinner and felt fine that night. The next morning is when it hit me. I felt lightheaded, extremely nauseous and fatigue. After eating, I was having a hard time breathing. I panicked and went to the Urgent Care. They told me they don't think it was the medication but to discontinue taking it and see if I feel better. It has been five days since taking the medication and most of the symptoms have subsided but I don't feel like my old self. I still feel tired most of the day and even minor tasks are difficult. I will NEVER take this medication again or anything closely related to it.
