August 2009: About 3 months ago, my provider gave me an Rx for generic lisinopril to save the significant cost of brand name cozaar. For the past 2 months, I have developed a tickle in my throat resulting in an almost constant cough. Until I read some of the side effects of lisinopril on your site, I never connected the cough with the lisinopril. Now that I see many taking lisinopril, with the cough side effect, I am ceasing to take lisinopril.
