August 2009 My provider gave me a Rx (cozaar) to reduce and maintain my blood pressure. When the cost of the brand name cozaar became unmanageable, I was given an Rx for generic lisinopril, which I have been taking now for about 2 months. Within 2-3 weeks of taking the lisinopril, I developed a tickle in my throat, resulting in a minor, but consistent cough. I see, from the side effects posted on your website, that many others have found the cough resulting from taking lisinopril. I am immediately discontinuing my use of lisinopril. Thanks for the "heads up".
