I took myself off it after 3 months of taking it. I simply told my doctor that I will take no more statins. I had liver enzymes checked, but I had come off the drug 3 weeks before that. My enzymes were through the roof! Needless to say, this drug is poison. Guess I'll eat avocados instead.... and they're a lot cheaper. My cholesterol is coming down without that poison. Exercise and diet...and if I can lose weight my numbers will be perfect. Hope you will all be blessed.
