I have been on a generic form of Norvasc (only 2.5 mg) for two months. No swelling that I have noticed but in the past few weeks I have had mild chest pain that comes and goes. First I thought it was stress or I was imagining it but today I was fine and 5 minutes after I took my dose I felt a mild pain/pressure in my chest. Also,at times I feel dizzy and tired. I am calling my doctor today to get me off of this and hopefully find another BP med. I am exercising now so I can eventually get off meds completely. These side effects scare me more than having mild hypertension.
