I have been taking the generic form of Wellburtin (Budeprion) for about a year and until recently the only side effects that I had were dry mouth and weight loss (which was a plus). Within the past few months I have noticed my normally thick hair thinning considerably. My family and friends say they can't notice it but it is definitely happening. I also have sensitive, itchy scalp and redness on my scalp. Has anyone had this before? I'm really upset because of the hair thinning, but also because I know that I will have to get off Wellbutrin and it's helped me in so many ways. I'm also concerned about my hair growing back in to it's usual thickness. I have stopped the medication for about a week and started taking Biotin, but I wondered how long it takes to see some re-growth? I'm so bummed bc I loved the affects of Wellbutrin.
