You are right . . . . I am a victim of Lipitor. I sent a complaint to the FDA. I received a standard form letter and no follow-up. In the meantime, drs. and the drug co's push the anti-cholesterol drugs . . .HUGE SCAM and big $$$ business. Unfortunately, most people don't know that your mind/body needs cholesterol to function properly. It is frustrating to see the ads for drugs when there are many natural products/alternatives for health issues.
Thanks so much for your info. What is ALS please? Can you point me in the direction to find the report you mentioned please?
oldcarpetcleaner . . .go on google for ALS . . .there are numerous articles and you can find the info.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.
ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
it is fatal at least in western medicine. i don't know how other cultures deal with it
Statins are not limited to causing ALS. Statins can also cause other neurological (type) conditions (peripheral neuropathy, Parkinson's, sleep disorders, cognition (decline, TGA, etc) as well as myopathy and muscle damage leading to life threatening rhabdomyolysis (which can result in death due to kidney failure). Since all our cells need cholesterol (especially our heart and brain) it's no wonder that patients experience heart attacks and memory loss while taking statins.
