I have been on Levaquin 750mg for an infection in the bone of my toe. I am also on a daily IV drip of antibiotics. Since I have been taking the Levaquin, I ache all over. Every joint aches from my hands to my ankles. I'm wondering if this is all a side effect of the Levaquin. I have nothing else to blame the aches upon.

I was prescribed 750 mg/d Levaquin for Bartonella, a co-infection of Lyme Disease which I've had since 7/06, two weeks ago. Every joint in my body aches and my knees have just about ceased to function. I can't even describe the insane pain. Lyme disease itself trashes one's joints but it was absolutely NOTHING like the pain that started after I took Levaquin. I called my Dr today and was told to stop taking it for a few days to see how I felt. From what I'm reading I'm very concerned that what I feel now will be forever...what a nightmare.!

You need to watch TV . .even the FDA is warning about this dangerous drug . Also, attorneys have ads for lawsuits. Unfortunately, drs. still continue to push this dangerous drug . . .There are many natural products for health issues . . instead of taking drugs.
