After 18 months of 80mg daily simvastatin my right shoulder pain kept me awake at night. Soon after my left shoulder followed suit. GP immediately took me off the drug but after 2 weeks the pain is still excruciating at night and I have acute pain, weakness, lack of mobility when trying to raise either arm. I'm hoping physiotherapy will help. Would welcome other suggestions
