Unfortunately, most drs. all they know is to push drugs and we suffer. VERY SAD.

I too have been taking 500mg of Levaquin for an acute bacterial prostititis. I am on approx day ten with about 6-7 more days to go. I have experienced an improvement in the pain and difficulty urinating that I was experiencing. Levaquin apprears to be working for me. However, I am experiencing side affects. I'm 48 yo male in excellent athletic shape: working out twice a day with running and weights. Now I'm taking the Levaquin I am experiencing fatigue, poor sleep, aching joints, difficulty concentrating and anxiety. That said, my prostititis was so serious, according to my urologist, I am glad to put up with the side effects for a another week.

you say "I am glad to put up with the side effects for a another week." but would you be glad to put up with them forever. in many cases side effects from levaquin are permanently disabling.
the problem here is that many of our safer antibiotics are no longer effective thanks to overuse and to constant use in our meat supply. so doctors have to use these much more dangerous antibiotics

Tony . . . you need to listen what propsguy is saying . . . .Watch TV .. .even the FDA is warning about this dangerous drug . .also, the attorneys have ads for lawsuits. . WAKE UP !!!
