I'm sorry to hear of your kidney damage. By any chance did you ever get BAD bladder infections? My daughter has been on Yaz for 3 months now and has a BAD bladder infection and can not stop urinating blood. She is on no other medication but Yaz. She is only 18. She is to see a second doctor tomorrow. She is on Yaz for cysts and acne. We are a military family and this is what the base doctor said to try. Now I'm very frightened. Thanks so much for your input. I'm 31 and just noticed a couple of months ago how thin my hair was getting and how I'm losing more in the shower. I've been on Yaz for a year or a little less, I have also gained weight, feel tired more than I ever have in life and now after reading all these postings, am convinced it is the Yaz. I will be going to my dr next wed and intend on stopping this bc. I wish i didn't have to take any bc but don't know another healthy effective method to use. i appreciate everyone's posts, so many of you have probably saved lives. take care and be well.
