I had mirena inserted September of 2006 and for the first few months i was ok but then when i barley got my period and when i finally got it after 2 or 3 months it was BAD!! with cramps that hurt like crazy, i would discharge a lot..and i mean a lot throughout the day, then during intercourse i would feel soo much pain because of the mirena. I also noticed my mood was different from before and i had gained a lot of weight, im having moments where i have shortness of breath while im during normal things. Now that i haven't had insurance for 3 years and haven't been checked im scared to go...i want to get it out as soon as possible but i bet it cost a lot to get it removed.
