Consider taking some extra b12 (methyl cobalamine, i think, which is tthe coenzyme kind, probably best), for your tingilng and numbness.
I had numbness in my toes, sometimes felt like burning sensation, sometimes numbness. Took a long time to go away.
My take is the your symptoms are most likely just from the drugs because they are similar to what others have described here.
My belief is that, among other things, the body uses up minerals in processing these drugs (especially trace minerals). Diuretics like HCTZ also promote the loss of minerals along with water.
The combination of HCTZ and lisinopril is popular with doctors; however, there are reports here that some have problems with an unusual interaction between these two drugs, above and beyond the individual medications (which are already bad enough).
You should consider adding a multi-mineral for a while. If you want natural, kelp is one thing to try as it is packed with trace minerals (as long as you are not alergic to seafood or shellfish). Zinc is important, magnesium, calcium, potassium, a bit of selenium, etc...
Best of luck!
I am on lisinopril also I am 30 yrs old and have been on it for almost 3 months. Back in July my dr uped my doses to 2 20mg pills a day. Well one night I went out and had some drinks and totally blacked out and cant even remember what happened, I didnt have very many drinks or anything this is unusual for me unless I drink ALOT. That is my experience with lisinopril and having alchol.
