I have been reading a bunch of horror stories in several group forums about the mirena iud. Have you had any of the other side effects that are posted? Such as hair loss, mood changes, cramping or the sort? I am a little freaked out since i am scheduled to get mine in the next week. Any info would be appreciated!

After reading everybody else posting it freak me out to. But every persons body reacts differently to medication. I havent had any of the side effects listed. My problem is the long periods. Other than that i love it. You will have severe cramping in the beginning. Should past after a time period.
