Hi I first used the ring 3 years ago when i got married. ever since then, I've had extreme pain upon penetration. Basically, we haven't had intercourse for 3 years. My vagina burns like crazy, like sand paper every time my husband penetrates. I also haven't menstruated in 3 years. So far, doctors have not been able to treat the problem. I am going to an endocrinologist now who will prescribe hormones short term for my period. Has anyone had a similar experience? I would appreciate any feedback, advice, doctors, etc.

Hello-

After reading your posting it brings some comfort to me. I too have been having the same types of problems, when i try to have sex it burns so bad! And my sexual appetite has decreased. I thought it was just me, but before I have always been a very sexual person, and i wanted to try some new that i didnt have to take everyday. But im starting to see that the pill was probably better for me. With this product, this will prehaps be my last month.

I had the same thing with the NuvaRing, extreme pain on penetration! I ended up working out that that is what was causing it and stopped using it. I had decreased sex drive, which I attributed to the association with the pain. The pain went away after I stopped using the ring, but has started again since using Loette again. I am now thinking of stopping Loette.
